Oooh. Sigh. Details of the night! Finally. I’ll admit to pathetically refreshing to just see if you posted this. I think I may have said ‘Yes’ out loud when I saw you had today.

I love the addition of Jenny becoming friends with Cordelia, as the rest of the gang cut her out. And yay Soul is permanent, wonder if Buffy will ever learn that Angel is Angelus — and that normal is overrated? Oh wait, who cares… Angel is still hot for Cordy! But of course he is, the demon fell hard for her, now all the soul has to do is catch up, right?can’t wait for more!

Lysa, you sure do know how to write outstanding ficage (my new made up word). I especially like how you blend in characters that you usually don’t see much of. Never watched Buffy, so don’t really know much about Jenny Calendar, but it was an added bonus to have her in it. I would love to see more fics with her in it, just to at least have that “mature” female figure for them all to look up to. And good to see she was on Cordy’s side too. Can’t wait to see where Cordy and Angel take it from here! Hopefully straight to the bedroom. — Amanda

Had to laugh at that. Won’t quote any more or I’ll end up quoting most of the chapter. I liked the fact that Angel made reference to Buffy hitting Angelus. I liked the way the dialogue between everyone flows so naturally regardless of whether it is snarky or not. I love the fact that Jenny is there for Cordy. Aww, you’ve got to love Angel’s conflicting emotions All in all a brilliant chapter. Can’t wait for next part. —Marie

Loved this Lysa. Brilliant. I was totally engrossed in every word, and when I stopped reading and looked around I was actually shocked to find myself in my office and not Giles flat. I felt really bad for the way Cordy was shut out and ignored by the Scoobies, damn them. Was about to go to bed seeing how it’s 5:30 am but you had to go and post an update didn’t you?!? Damn you from keeping me from my beauty sleep, not that I need it you understand… Not one word from any of you!! This fic is enjoyable on so many levels and I ain’t just talking about the smut. Great part! I loved Angel sticking up for Cordy, and not taking Buffy’s crap! Well, what can I say? as well as the usual joyness of seeing Lysa-fic on the board *g* Enjoyed their pov’s and totally understand Cordy’s unwillingness to be second best. Should be fun when she turns up at the library, and i can see fireworks of the Buff kind- hope she is put well in her place. As to the B/A being well and truly put in the ground, I think that is up to Angel too to get it sorted before even thinking of moving on. Can’t wait for those two cats to get it on eventually- be interesting to see how different Angel is to Aus in the sack. heeeee, one more to go and cannot wait!

Love that moment, just so full of tension and anticipation. Perfect. (well almost but him holding back was right for the moment). Love that he’s confused by how one night when he was Angelus ended up meaning so much to him, as well Cordelia’s mixed reactions, though she’s not denying the truth that she wants more to happen with the souled version of the man. Also happy Angel’s realizing that his Buffy Blindness made him miss Cordelia but now his eyes are wide open and that he’s thinking of her beyond the narrow-focus everyone else has of her. And that he’s feeling protective and wants her at the meetings. Can’t wait for more

Lysa, this is just wonderful. There was so much to love about this chapter. From the dream sex to Angel no longer playing Buffy’s lapdog to the dance in the Bronze. His feelings of conflict and guilt about his behavior as Angelus, his desire for Cordelia, and his ambivalence about Buffy were all intense. Loved the fact that while he obviously isn’t ready to admit what (and who) he wants, he still automatically defends Cordy and wants her back with the Scoobies because he isn’t ready to not have her in his life. Please post more soon. —Sammie

I’ve seriously been lacking on the feedback, Lysa, and I’m sorry. I do so love everything you write. Nothing ever seems forced. It just flows like it couldn’t be written any other way. And even things that I think might be OOC never are because you make them make sense. I think you could write Giles as a Chippendale dancer and I’d buy it hook, line and sinker.

I loved A Night to Remember and this fic so much. I could live in an AU where Cordy and Angel/us were drunk all the time and still able to bang like bunnies 24 hours a day. Why didn’t JW write *that* TV show?

Anyway, I don’t want to quote passages because I truly can’t separate parts. It all works together as one painting that I can sit back and gaze at for hours. And, yeah. I want the smut, too. Post as soon as you can!!

Lysa babe! Dang late again, sorry I’ve been working like a dog with no home. Anyway Brilliant part, lovely long and totally delicious. Got me thinking too, especially the part about the bond between the three scoobs and Cordy not being a part of it- that is so true thinking back and yet so not true about Cordy and FG! I didn’t want to read this while I was at work because of the turn-on factor, but I couldn’t wait. And holy hell was that good and hot. I really like it when there’s some dirty talk and this part almost had me panting and heaving like an idiot.

I just went through and reread this, and wanted to tell you how much I absolutely love this story. You are one who really gets Cordy, and how her strengths fed Angel’s. Her nonchalant acceptance of the bite, and all that it entailed, including the scar, tells Angel, and the reader, all he needs to know about Cordy. This was a really well done story, and well plotted out.

All days and night to follow: My favorite part about this piece is the implied Jenny/Cordelia friendship. I often wonder how those would have gotten along if the writers had made them interact more. And arrghhh… Xander, must I say more. I hated how in the show he acted like a total douchebag when he was the fault. On the Cangl front ?There was just something about her that made him want to protect and cherish her one moment and bring her to an earth-shattering orgasm the next.? may be one of my favorite Cangel lines I read this week.
