    • Doing great! (Bronchitis is the worst. It always takes a month for my cough to go away.) I’m slowly getting back into the writing habit after some crazy weeks at work over the holidays. Here’s hoping that I’ll finally finish Season of Solace in 2019. I won’t call that my New Year’s resolution because that will cause my plans to crash and burn. Happy to hear that you’re enjoying the site.

  13. Hey Lysa! It’s been a long time! I was having a down day and had to go back and re-read Phantom Hand of Fate, and loved it again! I always crack up at C/A getting caught. Always instantly cheers me up. Thank you for writing it. I hope your doing well!

  14. Lol yes! I always thought it would be fun idea for Wes in an earlier season or Fred in season 3 to walk into the pool area of the Hyperion and then went come out covering their eyes and then Cordelia and Angel quickly coming out of the same room tying the robes around their bodies and Cordelia muttering how her “bikini just fell off” 🙂

      • I am happy to see that you are active ;( it’s been too many years 😭 I hope you never delete ur writings, even on Reddit if anyone recommends any fan fictions they recommend yours. Was wondering what fan fictions you were inspired by? There’s one on fanfiction.net called “I Saved Yo Evil Ass” by Lilyana. I really love ur work Lysa, you really know how to develop the characters u write. To more Cangel/Cangelus novels, trilogies 🫶🏼

      • Definitely no plans to delete my site or stories. They’re full of fun memories, and I spent far too much time creating them to cast them into the void. I first started writing romances and adventure stories for myself before I knew fan fiction was thing. Angel was already on the air and I had missed out on the whole Buffy/Angel star-crossed/forbidden lovers thing when I discovered that people posted stories for other people to read. Cordy and Angel were already having some interesting encounters in my vivid imagination when I came across a multi-shipper site with some spicy stories that included all of our favorite characters. I gobbled up anything that had Cordelia and Angel or Angelus in it. Everything I could find. I did not shy away from the sexier ones *and still I blush* because..hello! Then I decided I needed to write that too. Reading stories about other shows was fine, but I didn’t seem to want to write about them the way I do C/A. My inspirations come to me because I look at stories as a writer as well as a reader. If my favorite characters are in the story then I’m usually excited to read it.

      • hey Lysa I’m not sure if I ever asked you this but when you were thinking of season of solace, did you ever want to do an Ats season 1 novella instead of BTVS season 3?
